LIL HITT/ ART DIRECTION

I was commissioned by Behind Bars Limited to provide art direction for Samoan-American reggae artist Lil Hitt. I would also provide photography, video production and other digital media to foster this artist's album release campaign. In becoming acquainted with Hitt I wanted to place emphasis on his unique background. To develop the aesthetic I researched cultural aspects and began to conceptualize what would be relative to the target market detailed by his management company. Finally placing all the pieces together I designed a monogram which could be render several different ways depending on the medium. This monogram worked well on clothing as well. Once everything was completed the entire package was very cohesive and unified the direction his team uses moving forward.
